Waldpolitik 2020 – Optimization of the Forest Policy 2020
Overview
The “Waldpolitik 2020” (Forest Policy 2020) defines the visions, goals and the strategic direction of the Federal Council for the period 2011 to 2020. We are currently conducting an evaluation of the “Waldpolitik 2020.” The aim is to provide input for a basis for future Swiss forest and wood policy at the federal level.
The evaluation includes the following work steps:
- Analysis of the suitability of the strategic structure of the “Waldpolitik 2020” for creating favorable framework conditions for forest policies
- Evaluation of the implementation of the “Waldpolitik 2020” at the federal level (Output)
- Analysis of the effect of the forest policy based on the intended or unintended change in the behavior of the addressees (outcome) and based on the goal achievement of the Forest Policy (Impact-level)
